PDF to Word with OCR App Reviews

There is no doubt that the newest version is powerful. I have a 80 mb PDF file which is full of images, graphics and hyperlinks. I tried it to convert to a . DOC file. To my surprise, recognize at least 99% of the PDF file. These information have been kept the original quality. I have to say the newest version has shocked me. And it is so far the easiest OCR tool Ive used. Highly recommend it!

Did exactly what I asked of it. Did the resultant .doc look exactly like the pdf I made. Good and better recognition, graphs or charts in doc has been displayed correctly. Either way, this is so much better faster (harder stronger) at what it does than any online resource linked on the first 3 pages of google, and like it says, its cheap! Rate five star for enhancement.

It converts scanned PDFs and also converts tables and images without disturbing their orientation. Unlike similar application, it did get stuck during conversion and it allowed me to work on other programs simultaneously. Very nice!

There are so many of these converters out there-only positive and great part which makes it the best is the ability to maintain layout. This is vital for secretary like us-where we get intricately formatted PDFs. So once we edit when we convert-the layout retention really makes the process easy. And we can choose to extract images or text what we need to convert independent files. Nice app!

well, it works pretty well, but it only supports a few kinds of language and doesn’t support any kind of Asian language. Come on,there are so many Asians why cannot this software support some Asian languages!!!

I’ve had this pogram for a little bit, but it’s been fairly impressive. Decent OCR is hard to find in one of these converters, but this one has been good. Of course, when there’s complicated formatting in the original PDF, the conversion to Word is not 100% accurate, but I have yet to see any program do that.

I had trouble with my PDFs cause all of them are scanned files, but I wanna edit them for reusing the contents. Thanks goodness, I got this wonderful PDF to Word OCR program. It worked smoothly and converted my scanned PDF file (200+ pages) in about 2 minutes. I really like the OCR function which does me a big favor to converting the files without any distortion. Literally, this is the converter that is the best among all that I have tried.

It is really a powerful tool to convert PDF files to word, including normal PDF files, scanned PDF files and password encrypted PDF files. Compared to other tool with single function, this app really helped me a lot. The most important, apps converting with OCR are usually a little expensive, but this app is comparetively cheap. I didnt spend my money on the wrong place.

This has the most accurate OCR that I have seen. For a test document I used a TIFF image made by scanning a Xerox copy of a typewritten page. Some parts of the image are quite legible and some parts are pretty bad. I compared it to Acrobat Pro 9.5.5 and Acrobat Pro CC. "PDF to Word with OCR" did much better at recognizing than either of the Acrobat Pros. I look forward to improvements such as multiple file input. But from now on "PDF to Word with OCR” will be my first choice.

It should have 1 star, I wonder if the below rating were written by staff. I wasted money. At the very least you should talk to someone with background to get advice before you spend- like I should have done. I open a word document from my professor, but the app always crashes. And the OCR can not work correctly. It is useless for me, waste my money and time.

This product absolutely failed to perform as advertised. A total waste of my money. The OCR function does not work as it should, so you wind up with terribly mangled conversions. Poor product. Buyer beware.

Rip off. Didnt work with basic images in a PDF. Dont buy.

This just does not work unless you want a jumbled document of half letters and a language unknown to humans.

I like this app. It supports converting PDF in any language with the Super OCR Technology, it is perfect and pretty useful for my oversea business! Especially, it allows me to convert the selected parts to .docx. Yesterday, I just spent 2 minutes to convert a PDF with tens of pages to Word document, do save me much time!

I like its simple working flow, just easily drop files to it, and lets me choose what desired segments for conversion, with several clicks, it helps me turn the important PDF files to editable .word with fast speed. Never waste my precisous time.

I love the Apple Store & its knowledgeable staff! This app was just what I needed & they told me ablout it & that it was on sale! Saved me about $790! What is better than that?Easy to use and works well! Works in many languages. I have only used the french version.
