PDF to Word with OCR App Reviews

I have a PDF file that makes this app crash systematically. This soft is not business-grade nor does it justify its price.

The OCR is great, it does a fantastic job keeping the document format. Some times it crash a lot. Can’t drag a file directly to application icon. Can’t open a document with “Open with” option. Is very exhausting edit tables, add and remove lines and columns.

Sorry but I have to tell that this tool is not working as I had expected. Given the price of almost 9 Euro that is more than disappointing. Handling is poor and the results are too far off from the pdf that you can not use it.

This is the worst App on this planet. It keeps on crashing. I wish I could get my refund. Do you hear that app developer? I want my money back. And all the other users, STAY AWAY from this.

It’s a great app for converting scanned PDF files to Word documents. I have handled with 5 image PDFs by this tool, and the output word documents saved all of the text and tables, what’s more, they are editable. I found that, you need to adjust the OCR recognition area by hand so that you can get the high accurate word documents. This is a tip for your guys who wanna use it.

I just tested it against a PDF of a typed page that had pencil underlines. The conversion was generally accurate, and if it hadn’t been for my scribbles I think it would have been close to 100 percent accurate. It works fine for me!

It closes while in the process of converting. Tech support is on vacation and cannot reply me for 8 days more. I want my money back!

I bought this because I need OCR for Japanese text. It was sold on itunes Japan and had a review written in Japanese. I wouldnt’t have bought it if this was made clear. I want my money back!

Could i have a refund?????..this product does not work. what a waste of money

well thought out and has great potential

Had several PDF files that my company needed to convert to editable word document, Im really frustrated when use a PDF to word program failed to convert the PDF that contain graphics, but thats impossible for me to type that over 500 pages document out! Luckily got this converter worked, output are editable word document, graphics and layout are basiclly consistent with the original.

The app did convert from PDF to Word, but the result didnt turn out good with graphs and pictures. I tried both versions (with OCR and without), one came out with incorrect graphs, and one didnt even have the graphs. If the documents you want to convert does not contain any graph or pictures, this would be a good one, but if you need to covert the documents containing graphs/ pictures, this might not be the one. I had to buy a different app to edit my PDF documents. :(

Used the converter to open a secure PDF file to extract the text. The PDF file was openable but I could not copy and paste the text within the file. The OCR worked beautifully for the most part. Ill have to make a few tweak but it worked well. Some of the numbered or bulleted items werent picked up but this saves me a ton of time since it retained most of the formatting.

So many new features that really enhance the scanned PDF converting experience. Especially like the feature of selecting text, images, tables manually to make higher conversion accuracy, cool!

Im cautions to choose a PDF conversion program, though there are some good reviews on this one, but I still read some other reviews from other forums, sites, and at last decided to try this one, thanks it did well jobs, the OCR of selecting contents manually works quite well, maybe this is why the output can keep layout and fonts as original.

I have tried multiple documents of varing sizes and sophistication. It crashes constantly and takes over 30 minutes for a 19 page non-scanned document. However, despite these glaring insufficiences and annoyances, it has put out a couple of decent functional documents. Would not recommend.

Not sure what else I can say…it keeps crashing with every PDF that I try. Im out of options.

Scanned PDF documents conversion works well, tried some files, among them the big files are a 23.6m and a 17 pages PDF document, in all, the speed are accepted, the most important is quality are OK, the converted word files are editable and only very little of loss.

Crashes all the time. Will not complete a conversion job.

Simply put, it doesn’t work. At all. Whenever I tried to execute a conversion from pdf to .doc, it would crash… Take a look at the reviews and their stilted english. They are obviously placed their to bump up the score. I feel ripped off by this junk software. For that reason I will post this twice, once with the lowest score possible, and once with the highest possible so that more people don’t make the mistake I made.
